Looking for recent recordings by Jim Keltner, I was lucky enough to find this album through a web search in its year of release. Musically, it's a really great album. Street-West clearly is one of the great blues men of the 00s if such a thing exists.
ReplyDeleteJim Keltner is rumored to have been or still producing the follow-up album to this one for Nathaniel Street-West since circa 2008. Unfortunately, nothing has been released so far. I'd love to finally hear the outcome of that production. I know there may have been some setbacks regarding the timetable for this release due to Street-West's chronic health issue but the good stuff needs to be released on CD. This way, it will at least help with paying the medical bills even if no tour might happen. But I confess, it's a little selfish to ask for this record to finally be released given the circumstances which have likely lead to the delay.
