Tonio K put out another album with production by T Bone Burnett called "Ole" which is highly recommended if you like this one.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, it is Tonio's most recent album of all new songs to date (1999's "Yugoslavia" is merely a collection of leftover tracks and some additional new songs).
When I heard Tonio would write for T Bone Burnett's production "We Walk This Road" by Robert Randolph, I had high hopes this would be the first step back into the recording studio for another solo album for him. Unfortunately, that dream has not come to be so far. Tonio's authoritative voice is thoroughly missed. Here's hoping he will record another album of new songs rather sooner than later.
